How It Works

Three steps. You refer, we handle the rest, your patient gets better.

1

You Identify a Patient

When you have a patient with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, or chronic pain who could benefit from ketamine therapy, you refer them to Kalm Health through our simple referral form.

2

We Handle the Medical Side

Our board-certified clinicians conduct a free consultation, prescribe sublingual ketamine if appropriate, ship medication directly to the patient's home, and provide ongoing medical monitoring.

3

You Keep Doing Therapy

You continue your therapeutic relationship as you always have. We coordinate with you on patient progress. The ketamine opens the window; your therapy drives lasting change.

Why Therapists Partner With Us

Built for therapists, not in place of them.

Zero Cost, Zero Liability

There is no fee to refer. No contracts, no minimums. You are not prescribing or managing medication. Our medical team assumes all prescribing liability.

No Dose Cap

Unlike competitors who cap dosing regardless of clinical need, our clinicians prescribe what is clinically appropriate. The dose follows the patient, not a corporate policy.

Affordable for Patients

$124/month is a fraction of what IV clinics charge ($400-800/session). Initial consultation is free. HSA/FSA eligible. Your patients can actually afford this.

Care Coordination

We provide treatment summaries and our clinical team is available for case consultation. You stay informed about your patient's progress without taking on medical responsibility.

HIPAA Compliant

Patient data is handled securely throughout. All communications and records meet HIPAA standards. Licensed in all 50 states with board-certified providers.

Optional Revenue Share

For therapists who refer regularly, we offer $50 per qualified patient referral, paid after the patient's third month of treatment. Bonus tiers available for high-volume partners. Paid monthly. No cap. Fully optional -- many therapists prefer to refer without compensation.

Common Questions

What therapists ask before partnering with us.

"Am I liable if something goes wrong?"
No. Referring a patient to Kalm Health is the same as referring to any specialist. You are not prescribing, administering, or managing ketamine. Our medical team assumes all prescribing liability and carries independent malpractice coverage.
"Is at-home ketamine safe?"
Sublingual ketamine at therapeutic doses has a strong safety profile. We screen every patient medically before prescribing, provide detailed safety protocols, monitor patients remotely, and our clinical team is available 7 days a week. Doses are titrated conservatively and adjusted based on response.
"Will this replace my role as their therapist?"
The opposite. Ketamine + therapy produces significantly better outcomes than ketamine alone. Ketamine opens a therapeutic window; your work drives lasting change. Therapists consistently tell us their patients become more engaged and productive in sessions.
"How is Kalm different from other ketamine companies?"
Three things: (1) No dose cap -- we prescribe based on clinical need, not arbitrary limits. (2) $124/month -- the most affordable at-home option. (3) We coordinate directly with referring therapists. We're built around the therapist-patient relationship, not in competition with it.
"What's the evidence for ketamine in depression?"
A landmark 2023 NEJM trial found ketamine outperformed ECT for treatment-resistant depression (55.4% response rate vs. 41.2%) with less memory impairment. A 2024 Nature Medicine trial validated oral ketamine's sustained efficacy over 12 weeks. Ketamine has the strongest evidence base of any rapid-acting treatment for TRD.
"Do I need special training to refer?"
No. You do not need KAP training or certification to refer patients. You are simply referring to a medical provider. If you are KAP-trained, Kalm enables you to practice KAP by providing the prescribing side you can't do yourself.
